Interpreting is when we immediately translate a word-of-mouth message, orally, into the desired foreign language. The types of interpretation have evolved from different interpreting situations.

When the communicator and the interpreter speak at the same time, simultaneous interpreting takes place. This can be conference interpreting (from a booth) that requires advanced technical equipment, or it can be whispering for a few people. When the communicator and the interpreter take turns in speech, consecutive interpreting takes place. A more informal version is liaison or escort interpreting, when the interpreter accompanies the client and interprets the communicator for them (for example during a site visit, sightseeing, or cultural event) or the communication between the parties.

Regardless of what sort of interpreting situation you need specialists for, we either already know or will quickly find the right interpreters for you. In the case of a larger, multilingual event, our project manager will ensure the smooth running of our services on site. If required, we can also take care of the technical equipment that is needed for interpreting, thereby easing the administrative burden on our clients.
